Our Mission

St. Ann's Academy exists to provide a Catholic education in the Hornell area so that our children can learn in an environment that enables them to become well-grounded spiritually and exceptional academically.

Our Vision

St. Ann’s Academy inspires achievement and instills faith in its students and others who support its mission. We manage our resources well so a quality education is affordable to all families in the area who want their children to have a faith-based education that can provide a sound emotional and spiritual foundation for life.

Welcome to Our School

St. Ann's Academy is a not-for-profit, non-public Catholic school located in Hornell, NY. We are chartered by the NYS Education Department to serve students in Pre-K (3 & 4 year olds), and grades K through 8. The school provides a caring learning environment anchored in values. The value of studying and applying one's self is stressed so that high academic achievement can be attained as the children move into upper grades.

Parent Statement – School Choice “One size does not fit all when it comes to a child’s education. That is why we are grateful to have a school like St. Ann’s Academy here in Hornell. Our three boys have received an outstanding education that is preparing them for future studies, and they are immersed in a faithbased learning environment where God is present every day. We value the emphasis placed on discipleship, prayer, and living God’s word. We are also very impressed with the individualized education each of our boys have received while attending SAA. Our oldest son was more than prepared when he started 7th grade this year after attending St. Ann’s Academy since kindergarten. Not only has he made high honor roll every marking period, he is excelling in an advanced algebra class graphing linear programming problems and solving quadratic equations with ease! We attribute his success at the junior high level to the wonderful start he had at St. Ann’s Academy!” -Pasquale & Laur
