Fundraiser

Why do we Fundraise?

Tuition alone does not cover all of the costs to run our school. Even though donations, memorials, bequests, and generous benefactors have helped us close the budget gaps, we still need to have fundraiser to close the nearly $100,000 gap in our operating budget which has to be done through fundraising efforts.

Every year we work hard to balance our budget without drastic tuition increases,  as St. Ann’s Academy DOES NOT receive public funds, and only receives  minimal services that are mandated by the State for children that qualify, everything else is covered under our budget.

The Board has had 4 major fundraiser events during the School year, which are: The Field of Honor®,  Cash Bonanza, this year we had the Cabin Fever Event that was sponsored by the Ladies  Auxiliary of the Canisteo VFW that they donated the proceeds to SAA, the Golf Club Membership and the Raffle of 2 E-bikes.

SAA Board of Directors has been working closely with our parent volunteer committee  and have come up with a calendar of fundraisers for the school year. We are excited to partner with this committee who supports our students.

Remember, “It takes a Village to raise a child”, so let’s do it! You will have no regrets to see them thrive and lead happy and successful lives, and becoming a part of the “Village” helping to rise the next generation.
